Happy Fall Y'all! I took a trip to the bay area Thursday and spent the night with my daughter Azure who is a Jr. at CAL, I even got to drop her off at school in the morning, just like the old days!! I miss those mornings watching her walk on campus with her loaded down back pack, clarinet case and running shoes. I visited the amazing Mary Mar in here studio and came home with some beautiful plates. Big fun for a food photographer ;) Made these crepes for my husband this morning with some matcha I bought at the Chelsea Market in NYC this Summer. Enjoy!
Mix dry ingredients
1 c flour
1 Tbsp matcha powder
Whisk the folowing ingredients
1.25 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
and then add to the dry ingredients and add more milk if needed to make a thin batter
Over medium heat pour a cup or so of the batter and swirl it to fill the skillet, when top sets flip and cook until golden. We like ours with butter, some awesome maple syrup & powdered sugar.
